I have always been a huge fan of Tina Turner. For me she is the best LIVE performer, singer and dancer I have ever seen. She filled football stadions all over the world for more than 4 decades. So I had the strong feeling to be ones on stages and do a playback performance of Tina. And I did it as a surprise for my friends on the Amstel-podium at the gay-pride 2007.

Although I don't look like her, as I am a real dutch gay, I really found it a fantastic experience. There was one problem that my DVD of the song I had prepared didn't work and I had to do another song, "simply the Best", which I had not rehearsed before. It was scary, but for me it was Simply the Best ! Thanks Cassandra, for the beautiful make over, I received a lot compliments ! Big Kiss, Tina
