On Saturday the 15th of November 2008, the fourth Dutch version of the Transgender day-of-remembrance was organized. It is an important demonstration for all of you T*-girls. On this we remember transgenders and queers who have been victims of hate-crimes and violence.

Pacha is not a transgender or tranny, but simply very curious and open-minded about how it would look and feel to be in another role....

He is a quiet and introverted man. But as soon as Veronique appears, everything changes. The quiet charachter becomes flamboyant and energetic like a little volcano. very charming. Very passable.

When she mentioned her name as 'Janneke' I had to think right away about 'Jip'. (Jip en Janneke are two famous charachters from a well-known dutch writer of children-books). I forget however how her name was as a boy. It might have been John Jack or Jim. Or Jip indeed....

At November the 11th 2007 the first Transgenderfestival took place in hotel Casa 400 in Amsterdam. A mixed audience of transexuals, transgenders, trannies, their partners, friends and anyone alse interested in this 'subject' joined this convention for networkers, self-educators, culturelovers and, shoppingaddicts.

The 4th of August 2007. An exceptional beautiful day. Blue skies and not even a shred of clouds. We decided to visit the canal-parade with a water taxi. This turned out to be a great idea.

The (appearant) contrast between the male and the female side evokes a particular field of tension. It creates a new and colourful dimension in our existence. An everlasting, refreshing experience.

The "ball of the birds from paradise" is a yearly event in Berlin, in which one encounters a great variety of people. "Ordinary" trannies, dragqueens and all kinds of fantasy-garments. Very colorfull but allways in style.

Juliette had a dream about being a hooker and work behind the window in the Amsterdam red-light area......

The doors of many of the ateliers/studios for expressive arts settled on the "Westelijke eilanden" are opened during the Whit Sunday/Monday. Cassandra cooperated in a project in which choreography, expressive art and make-over were combined.

From 28 April until 5 May The Roze Wester Festival takes place in Amsterdam. During this festival a number of activities is organized, among which are the celebration of the queens day (30 April), the memorial for the victims of WW2 (4 May), and the national day of liberty (5 May).

In the summer of 2004 Cassandra was invited at two exhibitions, to show her transformationarts to over 700 beauticians and professional make-upartists.The first event was organized by 'Hair magazine international' ( a leading fashion-, makeup- and hairstyling magazine which focuses on the latin-american audience) and Yoquire (producer and distributor of excellent make-up products).

In this report we show four examples of transformations with before and after-pictures. The transition is portayed by way of an animation-picture.
