In the Palace you could see fantastic costumes, nice-made body-paintings, charming and daring people and many others, mostly in costume or/and evening dress. Because we were in Berlin there was a lot of nice food and at the end there was in mid of costly ice a naked young body-painted lady, who later on danced with the partygoers. Next to us there were 4 youngsters ,beautifully dressed in evening-robes, One of them told me that (s)he (her)self had made the design and that grandmother had done the sewings. Everything only for this special occasion. Meanwhile there were shows and we could dance in two halls. And where the temperature was raising and the mood was there it appeared that below some nice costumes was hidden a more daring outfit, and so there was a joy for every taste and every mood. For me it was joyfull and nice to be again at the ball, to be there together with my friends, to attend the preparations by Cassandra, to talk, to taste nice food, to dance and to look around at alle the different colors of the birds of paradise. The pictures can testify the good atmosphere and the beautifull surroundings. Thanks to Nora for her outstanding help in Berlin and thanks to Lady Cassandra for her magic. Next year again (and what do I wear then??....)
